Indian Army has occupied heights overlooking the Chinese Army positions along Pangong Tso lake in eastern Ladakh. During the military standoff along LAC in eastern Ladakh, the Indian Army has occupied strategic heights overlooking Chinese positions near in Pangong Tso.

Operations and actions were undertaken by the Indian soldiers to occupy heights near the southern bank of Pangong Tso Lake around August-end, says the report. India does activities which will prevent China from occupying any more territory which falls on India’s side of the LAC.



As per the reports, the external Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is in Moscow and scheduled to meet his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi. Both ministers who are in Moscow for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) foreign ministers meeting and will be discussing the Ladakh standoff.
