Unemployment hikes in India soon as the game on top of the charts on the Google play store and the Apple app store (PUBG) has been banned. The ministry of information and technology bans PUBG AND 118 other mobile apps yesterday( 03/09/2020) . These apps are found to be ” prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of the state and public order” . PUBG players face a great break down in India.
Many Indians loses their aspiring jobs of the popular royal battle gaming . This situation goes viral across the country. It would be very unfortunate for the gaming people to take this news.
The total count of Chinese mobile apps banned by the Indian government has gone upto 224. At first, 59 apps were banned soon after the conflict between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley of East Ladakh during June 2020. The IT industry revealed that these apps were banned according to section 69A indicating that the personal information of the users are being transferred. Moreover it is found that, the users of those apps are Indians in majority which leads to increase in the GDP of China. This created a geopolitical issue between the countries. The Twitter and Instagram trends of ‘ Boycott China’ and other social media trends against China also created an abnormal situation in India. Will this reduce the growth of China?
